Welcome to the Lontar Digital Library, a shared, online resource featuring the collections of the Lontar Foundation (books, images, films and audio). Lontar’s primary activity is the translation and publication of Indonesian literary works, the goal of which is to:

• Stimulate the further development of Indonesian literature;
• Make Indonesian literature accessible to an international audience; and
